The following positions are open as of May 7, 2013:
- Residential Treatment Case Manager – Full time position. Case Management certification required. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in substance abuse setting. Duties include but not limited to, Work closely with Counselor on identified needs, make referrals, provide transportation, and follow-up to assure identified needs are met. Skill in maintaining client records and confidentiality; communication with clients as well as co-workers; provide crisis intervention and maintain control; work and coordinate with outside agencies. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Organized and detail oriented. Computer literate.
- Medical Records Clerk – Full Time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 – 5:00. Knowledge of methods or techniques of medical maintenance, of applicable federal and state laws and 12&12 Inc. policies and procedures. Skill in maintaining records, reviewing records for completeness and accuracy, abstracting information clearly and concisely. One year experience in medical and treatment in medical or treatment setting in a capacity that has first-hand familiarity with client records. Proficient in all matters regarding confidentiality. High School diploma required. Organized and detail oriented. Computer literate.
- Director of Development and Marketing – Full Time position. Create, develop and implement fundraising initiatives, including coordination and planning of special events, committee development and supervision, solicitation of service organizations to aid fundraising, volunteer coordination, etc. Development and implementation of other fundraising initiatives through sponsorships, gifting, service or goods exchange for funds. Solicit gifting or program support from Foundations as well as follow-up on fund solicitation, Board engagement in process, etc. Grand writing and coordination in cooperation with Management and Board of Directors (evaluate program needs, both current and new and write grants to meet these needs). Engage business and business clubs for educational/promotional presentations regarding programs/service, etc., and develop, establish, and maintain these relationships for business/referral development. Develop and maintain a public relations platform including press releases, media engagement when appropriate, newsletters, and brochures. Materials development for the provisions of general information about 12&12 and its programs. Website oversight and content updating as necessary, to improve communication to those who investigate the site. Contact with political figures and legislators. Oversight and content management of all digital media (social, i.e. Facebook, blog, etc.) Budget development and oversight of strategic initiatives related to business development as business development. Develop and revise as needed all organizational marketing materials and other collateral materials. Degree required in Marketing; extensive experience in business relations, development, and fundraising activities is critical. Knowledge and skill in the areas of organization, management of committees, project coordination and perseverance, fundraising, program development implementation and cultivation, oral and written mastery.
- Contract Counselor – Contract position, hours vary, including evenings and weekends. Master’s level degree in behavioral health related field. Licensed or working towards license. Two years’ experience in drug and alcohol counseling. Responsibilities include but not limited to, review client assessment data, defining problem areas and determining treatment needs for the individual’s involvement of multi-disciplinary treatment team; responsible for formulating treatment plans with involvement of client and multi-disciplinary treatment team; consults with other staff members in reviewing client progress; develops long term recovery plan for each client; assesses individual clients for risk and performs crisis interventions as necessary; documents all necessary information; participates in “on-call” rotation. Knowledge of the cultural sensitivity; of the principles and techniques of psychiatric counseling and chemical dependency counseling; of issues specific to dually diagnosed client and the effects of psychotropic medications; of community mental health resources; of the social, economic, and health problems related to dually diagnosed; of the dynamics of co-occurring disorders. Skilled in interviewing, conducting individual and group counseling, documentation, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, effective oral and written communication, following oral and written instructions and public speaking. Organized and detail oriented. Computer literate.
